One of our values is: Passionate worship through singing theologically rich songs.
When we gather on Sunday mornings, we love to passionately sing theologically rich songs in a contemporary style. There is great care taken to make sure that the songs we sing align with the truths of Scripture. Additionally, there is intentional effort given each week to have the songs align with the theme(s) of the text that's being preached that morning.

Note: By using a specific song from a band or ministry, we are not endorsing everything about that band or ministry. Instead we are affirming that specific song's theology as aligning with the truths of Scripture.

Kevin was born in Fairfax, VA and has spent the majority of his life in Northern VA. He grew up going to church with his family and was saved by God's grace, through the gospel of Jesus Christ, at the age of 14. During Kevin's high school years, he felt God calling him to serve Christ's church through ministering to youth and playing music, and since 1995, Kevin has had the privilege of serving on staff at a few different churches doing just that. He has been on staff at GBC since 2013.

Kevin has been married to his wife Mary for over 15 years, and they have five beautiful children: Aaron, Isaac, Evelyn, Luke and Elizabeth. When he has free time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, playing music, watching football (Washington Football fan), building guitar amps and musical equipment, and woodworking/home & car repair.

Kevin is a GBC Covenant Member and Deacon.
