Advent & Christmas

Come join us this Christmas season as we prepare our hearts and celebrate the Savior who has come.

What Is Advent?

Advent simply means “coming.” For generations, Christians have used the four weeks leading up to Christmas as a time to prepare their hearts for the arrival of Christ.

In this season, we look back with gratitude at Christ’s humble first coming, and we look forward with hope to His glorious return.

Advent teaches us how to wait with longing and trust. It reminds us that God always keeps His promises: The Father sent His Son the first time as a humble Savior, and He will send Him again as the triumphant King.

Come journey through Advent with us! Sundays at 8:00 am, 9:45 am, or 11:30 am

Then celebrate His first coming with us on Christmas Eve:
  • 5:00 pm & 6:30 pm – Family-friendly services (perfect for kids and grandparents!)
  • 8:00 pm – Traditional Candlelight & Carols

Advent Breakdown

Four weeks to remember the promise, celebrate the arrival, and long for the return of Jesus.

Hope: The Promise
God promised a Savior all the way back in Genesis 3:15, and that promise runs like a thread through the entire Old Testament. Jesus is the promised seed of the woman, the One who would come to crush the serpent and rescue His people.

Peace: The Prince Has Come
The angels announced “peace on earth” because the Prince of Peace was born. Through His cross, Jesus made the only peace that ultimately matters: peace between sinners and a holy God.

Joy: The Light Shines In The Darkness
Even while we wait for every tear to be wiped away, we rejoice, because the Light has already dawned, and the darkness cannot overcome Him.

Love: God So Loved The World…
The Father sent the Son because of His covenant love cannot be broken. Christmas stands as loving proof that God will never leave or forsake His people.
